I'm happy. Today has been a great day for me~ started off with lessons with the privates. i was the camouflage station instructor, together with justin. We were SO short of specs today and i really mean it cos 2 went for off, 1 RS, another gym master, and so the onus of teaching the guys were thrown to both of us. but i have no complaints.

Stood in the hot sun for the whole day which resulted in a throbbing headache! but i felt so satisfied, respected after that. perhaps cos i treat my men well with due respect and i can say i'm 1 of the most patient instructor. so when they can't grasp the idea fast enough, i'll guide them encouragingly and it really feels good when u're able to solve the problem. and from here, u gain respect and gratitude from your men. the feeling is just indescribable. i feel accomplished actually, to be able to win ur men's trust and successfully teach them well. indeed, you earn your respect. and i dun really feel army life that 'bleak' now... =)

alright, then i went on to meet yuexin, hui zhi, mj and huimin for dinner at wheelock NYDC. the gathering was meant as a celebration for yuexin and yuPZ really talked lots at nydc. the usual 38 yuexin nv fails to make us laugh~ haha! oh ya! and there's a very delicious yet cheap ice cream shop called 'haoto' that serves top-grade and chunky ice cream! had rum and raisin with green tea. totally awesome cos the portion was so large on the cone and it's only $4!!! argH! so after which, mj went to pick minyan up and we all made our way to geylang rochor dao hui! we celebrated yx bday cake at the dark alley behind the shop cos there're tables to sit there! haha, and it was a really quaint yet memorable celebratioN! hope yx loves it! hahah!
