a good deed

haha, i spent most of my time outside today! had cambridge test in the afternoon and there goes my 30 pounds! well, the TSA questions was really hard and the essay that i did was about the exciting areas for the future developments of chemistry and physics. and it's reallY exciting! when i stoned for like 10min cos i dun really have any idea of what to write? but in the end after gaining composure, i still managed to write 2 pages.. haha! the 2nd qns was about nanotech and the 3rd asked us to discuss 3 types of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics. ahaha~ think the qns are really cute!
then there's this cute qns for engineering, which goes: why do bicycles have gears? haha...

ok, then met mj and peishan to crap! actually it's me crapping and them lafing haha! but still fuN! and we had dinner at long john silver, or rather it's me and esmond having dinner onli cos both of them had dinner b4 my arrival!

then when i was about to go home, i saw this blind lady who was struggling with her baggage and stool and walking stick, standing in the middle of the busy crowd asking for help. then i turned back and went to her rescue =). she wanted to take a cab home and was asking for directions. well, i helped her and in the end got mj and ps to help me too as it's quite hard to flag for a cab when i'm carrying her heavy luggage. what i feel disturbed most is the reactions that many s'poreans have to the handicapped. no1 stopped for a moment to help this poor old lady. no, i'm not trying to boast about myself but feel that singapore still has a long way to go indeed in becoming a gracious society. definitely, there are an increasing no. of s'poreans giving up seats to the elderly whether on trains or in buses but i believe there's still room for improvement. such an unfortunate incident that i witnessed today has shown us many things about we s'poreans still lack in... even in the service industry, i feel that it cannot be compared to those in japan, hong kong, europe and other developed countries after travelling to those countries except for hong kong =). haha~ since japan can do it, why cant we? their services are always so impeccably good, the koreans always says thank you profusely and will give one a warm smile even if we do not purchase anything from them. that's wat i call service!

true enough, we still have a long way to go to become a gracious country, a really long 1 indeed...

our very last day having lessons in hc~

i'm listening to tian guo de jie di while typing this entry... cos it reflects how i really feel now... cried yesterday while reading my class blog entries and while we gave farewell hugs to each other at istana there. after these 2 years, the most intangible thing that i've gained is the friendships made in HC...

when i stepped into this school on the first day, i was filled with hope and anticipation. but when i got into 04S72 and looking at the people there, my heart sank as this class seems to be boring. worse still, j1 was not very smoothsailing, with the class depolarising into many diff cliques and with the on slaught of pw, we made enemies.

but today, i can confidently and frankly say that we have all matured and 04S72 will foreva stay in my heart. yest we had our class lunch at prince. still remembered this is the place where we started our journey as a class during last year orientation. a good ending at the place where we started from. we took picutes and tried to position ourselves like how we did during the last orientation day then. then, after bio lec, we went to taka fei cui to have our class dinner. 15 ppl turned up this time. we did not blame the rest cos they were sorta grounded by parents. well, dinner was really wen xin as i sat beside tai ge... i feel that he's like our papa then cos the way he eats and explain to us about the diff china cuisine makes him seem like 1... we took many corny videos to show how marvellous the food was and many shots were taken during our dinner. it's like a family feast as we ordered many food to share... it has been so long since i've felt so wen xin having a dinner. 2 years seem to pass very fast... i will foreva remember how these frens have brought to me anger, fun, lafter and touching memories. what makes us so special is that we started as a distorted class but ended up as a loving class whereby we can freely express our thoughts in our class blog and making each other cry... oosh, the power of strong frenship...

of course, besides my class, there's still other frens worth mentioning from co... wen chee will be 1! hey thanx pal, for these 2 years. actually wrote u 1 para then le, so i think i will keep this short ya? heee... anyway, i'll nv forget u cos u've made such a great impact in my hc life, and u betta not forget me k! u noe, today my teacher told us about the fallacy behind the frenships between jc peers? that many ppl have this mindset that jc frens are nv long lasting? when my teacher said this, i tot of u=) cos i could have nv imagine to meet such a close fren like u~ feel comfortable relating to u and yuPz, the cards that u wrote to me have really touched me... there's rarely some1 who can write more than me... and u're the 1... will remember the times when we say i will look much betta when i carry my cello around china or europe but u will look funny in both when u carry ur 'pro' pipa =P... and ya, the time when i witness ur big appetite in bugis, oh my! u're even better than me... hey hey, future commando, dun eat too much k! and muz take care of urself when u're there! and we shall meet up frequently next year k...

hey wen chee... muz still keep in touch even in ns k? if i get the chance to go abroad, i'll return every holidays to visit u! haha.. muz feel honoured!

i've received my enlisment date today, 6th jan together with lee kai and some other frens. glad to be together with some classmates still... the most touching part is when the gals in my class are so supportive of us and have volunteered to send us off... that really touches me and i hope that i will not cry on that day or it'll be super embarrassing...

think prom and chalet will be the last 2 events that our class will be having for the rest of the year? we must really cherish these 2 events and i'm sure i will tear during prom again as fond memories flood back...tian xia wu bu san zhi yan xi... dan li bie que rang wo men de you qing gen jian gu... shang xin ruo lei jiu neng zheng ming zhe yi qie... =)
