stressed!

there's exactly 1 more week to syf! i'm juz simply stressed at times, esp during fen zu when our group does not meet the expectations. think the standard now is a dangerous gold as stated by lin li... actually, i'm quite worried for other groups like xian yue whose yin se and feelings cant harmonize with us at times.

went home with jiayin, xin mei and geraldine today haha~ cos geraldine has to travel all the way to simei to get her di zi tuned when she lives in the faraway jurong. there's really a discernible effort put in by everyone to bring our orchestra to success, hope that our hard work will pay off anyway.

yuPz, despite wateva grievances, i would still like to end off my cca with a good note definitely. hee... all the best... next wk may be a tough wk for me as it'll be weird to have a sudden stop of all activities. i'll definitely miss my juniors who have helped me in one way or another. hope to have a hearty dinner next tues after syf~!

reminiscence

today i've skipped lots of lectures just to go and help out in dunman syf~! yeapZ, got a gold honours. was quite worried for them due to the mistake they made at the last note. anyway, was really happy for them when i was back in hcco.

was watching my 30th anniversary DHSCO vcd and i saw myself on stage! 2nd from the front with a head of 'long' hair. switched to huai nian aka reminiscence and saw myself playing with my 1 very big senior called shaodong who's 26 this year and 5 other cellist mates with our juniors. this song finally brought me to tears... every single memory was flashing quickly in my mind... the days when i sit with pei shan and we would zi xiang chan sha by turning the pu jia around~! haha how corny can we get! i saw chang fang in the video and she's the 1 who has always been helping me. i saw ming jit who's my v good buddy aka wife. i saw camy who's my long lost mei zi. i saw mollie who's still as san ba n i saw pam who's always scared to enter a horror film. i remembered swee keat who bought for me porridge when i was sick in sch 1 day. i also remembered vincent, the cute junior who gave me a hug today. i saw juniors crying for us after syf 2 years back as they're sad to see us leave.

i cried becos i love dunman. i cried becos i miss my juniors. i cried becos everybody's so united. i cried becos i dun get those 'oppressed' feeling over there. i cried cos i miss my batch of cellists. all in all, i cried for a good reason. and i was feeling happy actually. was telling chang fang that this 2 year old vcd will accompany me for the rest of my life. it's as if my sweetest memory has been captured into a video. i'm really glad...

such frens are really really hard to come by and it's a blissful thing that they came by me when i was in sec sch for i can know them for a good 4 years. of cos, our frenships continue today... cheers to dunman =) i love u always!

hopeful

well, today was the earliest day in my 1.5 years of life in hc! 2 teachers were absent and mr loi had decided to postpone our physics tutorial to thurs~ and we were let off at an amazing time of 12.40pm! then, our class decided to have a class outing and we went to orchard to have our extravagant lunch at galarie. think i spelt correctly... well, not very ex actually cos we paid like $4+ per person to get a big waffle with ice cream topping as it was the day whereby waffles go at half price! ooPz, sound aunty.

anyway, we walked around the basement of fareast and ks wanted to get a new stripe for his bag as his old one was disintegrating. the notti gals successufully persuaded him to get a baby blue 1 while i was in the fitting room, fitting into some plain but nice shirt. had a great laf when i came out and saw his bag. oh gosh! i wonder how he's going to come to school tml with this loud bag, together with a funny stripe. it even matches the colour of qiuting's shoes! tsk tsk... i should have stayed put to dissuade him from listening to the gals! hahaa.. but anyway, i bought my brown shirt too. heee, arh! i wan broad shoulders to pei my shirt!

ok, then we headed home and during my mrt ride, 2 singaporeans gave up their seats the the elderly in front of me. singaporeans are not so selfish and kiasu afterall as deemed by some foreigners. there's still hope in us and i have faith that this virtue with perpetuate! cheers to us, singaporeans~!

Back to tiring state...

after those 3 days of imcb, the long schooling days have returned... as usual, it really tires me out. but luckily, there was a break on thurs as chem s only takes place fortnightly. yeah~ anyway, today was full of speculations as pw results, gp compre and bio results are made known to us.

well, it was quite smooth sailing with a band 2 for pw, b3 for gp and D for bio~ yeah! was quite satisfied with my performance actually. a band 2 for pw was not a rarity in my class, only 6 ppl managed to get 1. as for gp, i've improved 5 grades since last year bt1, a pat on my back =). and for my 3 sciences i got the same mark for all 3, and 3 Ds! hahaha! well, i also volunteered for the MTP(math tutoring programme) to be a tutor of 1 who's average in maths. we were a chosen group of students by the math head to volunteer our services if we can afford the time. as for me, definitely, there's no time but then passion always does the trick ;)! i'm prepared to sacrifice 1.5h per wk to tutor some1. yeah!

heee, then me and my other classmates attended the PSC scholarship talk. well, i'm starting to really ponder upon my ambition now that this talk has really brought me back to reality. there's a no. of choices to pick from; chem, biochem, bio engineering or medicine? but i think i've an aptitude for chem. may consider plunging into the chemistry field~!

ok, then met pei shan to buy her stuff and tok quite a lot along the way, saw W as we make our way to century square. ah yo, at least ah sai's not feeling anything! it's a gd sign! happy for her ;)! yeah! shall meet her in future for the 'creeps' movie!

IMCB!

IMCB ROX! have not been in school for the past 3 days as i was in an attachment with IMCB on the topic of molecular membrane polarity. ok, i've gained much from this and knew more about the kidney. think the most interesting i've learnt is the reason for the formation of kidney stones. some chim words: claudin 16(kidneys), hypomagnesemia, hypercalciuria and nephrocalcinosis! hahah and we did antibodies' staining to find out the location of the expression of certain genes. cooL~

the biohub bus!

and we used this microscope that emits diff colour of lights to view the slide. coOL! actually, i was quite sian diao during the 1st day, cos i kinda miss sch and my class and my juniors hahah oOpz, have nv been so patriotic be4 ahhah! think it's due to the long waiting time after each step! that makes research tedious and it entails great patience! ok, some improvements can be made to the system i think, they should actually open such a research exclusively to jc students as most, if not all of the sec sch students over there do not noe wat they're doing. that's becos of the lack in basic concepts which will onli be covered in j1~

for us, we're so interested in knowing everything cos we have studied in depth in these topics and i seriously think we're more discipline~ nevertheless we still gained quite a lot from the incessant discussion that we had during lunch breaks and the breaks in btw of our research. at least, i think we returned home with more knowledge of the kidney unlike those sec sch ppl i guess, think they've wasted 3 days here actually. ooPZ, sound bad but then it's so true. without the basic concepts, how can u think and analyse chimmer stuff?

nevertheless, i got to meet and make new frens! got to know audrey from acj and yun yin from tj who are really superb partners! yun yin has the same freq as me i think, we're were able to tok a lot to each other. think i really understand the meaning of yi jian ru gu now~ yeah audrey has this chirpy characteristic and nv fail to bring lafter during our long breaks~ of course, not to forget, got to noe our dearest hc partners, namely lipyong, wanqi aka chenxiang(nickname) and lixiang(knew her like 1++ year). and we make up the quartet hahaha... lipyong's a nice guy, really =) some1's who's receptive to corny jokes and wanqi who's so willing to teach always~ she sounds like yujia actually~ =)

house of fury!

today's pace was so darn slow! i feel so unlike an asian! more of an ang mor!! ahahah... took 3h+ to finish homeostasis hahaa... ok.. just now chatted with chang fang and found that i've always misunderstood some1, hai, felt quite bad after learning his/her tragedy... ok, bu zhi ze wu jui...

ok, that's besides the point. went to watch 'house of fury' in the evening with derrick after finishing my bio notes, thumbs up for that movie man! it's really a worthwhile movie! it encompasses the 4 traits: thrill, touching, action and comedy. ya, the action part was so captivating! u juz cant fall asleep while watching! heee...


hahaha, hmmm think they're as seh as me hahah!
