ok~ so i had a 4 hour extravagant kbox session at cine with emily, zi chun, chang fang and pam which costs a jaw dropping $26. argH! but at least i felt satisfied today~ haha! and prior to that i went to attend my dad's scdf scholarship session and guess who i saw?! KOK chonG! me, him and enoch are the 3 out of 6 A level recipients for this award and really chatted a lot with him cos we haven't met each other since the last day of schooL! oh my, that was like ages ago... he's really a brilliant guy who is also committed to the things that he does. and he's in ada now; training to be a 2LT, i salute him man~


ok, and we met pei shan n camy for dinner at wisma ichiban boshI~! and i finally collected all the stamps on my card! hurray! haha and will get to enjoy so many free side dishes~ yeah~ i will nv be sick of ichiban boshi~ oishii man! and chatted quite a lot with ps, pam and kar mor in the train and we tok about so many lame stuff like how diyin gals are paired up with diyin guys~ and camy will be left alone and how stable is pam and mor relationshiP~ hahah so corny; anyway, i also bought 2 mag--- american scientist and scientific american! hmm and i think scientific american is much betta! it's tells me lot of things like how antibiotics can distinguish bacterial cells from human cells by this macromolecule called peptidoglycan! and how magical is nanotech and if we are able to build materials at the atomic level, miracles could happen! cos we're able to dictate the properties of these materials!

After much anticipation, I was posted to bridging! 3 cheers for me! 63 of us were posted to this old seletar camp but we will only settle down there on the following monday. I was so relieved I wasn't a field engineers as the bridging course proves to be much more appealing and cooL! I may get the chance to be a 'pilot', controlling the directions of a raft. could vaguely remember that it's called a comet or M3~ haha...

well, another good news together with it--- lip yong and corwin are also posted to bridging! actually 6 out of 7 Hwa Chongnians from my bunk were posted to bridging. they're jun yong, me, lip yong, corwin, zhiwen and samuel~! yeah~ hope we get to choose our own bunk there though i doubt so. and for lip yong we have been in the same platoon since BMT and now we're bunk mates. who knows we may be bed buddies in our new camp~ haha! well, think will miss pei long and jun kai though. yeah and tml i'll be getting money from scdf; it's sort of a scholarship actually, and then i'll be going for a 5h k box session with my diyin seniors and frens! yeah~ and i juz had a haircut today; i'm finally freed from crew cut~! wee!

This 1 week was really slack and i only did 2 PT! i'm really much happier in this bunk compared to that of sispec. not that becos the people here have better characters, but becos we have about the same frequencies and i feel comfortable with them. Like bmt, i'm laughing everyday now cos of the lame things that lip yong will crap with me, the serious topics that corwin sometimes share with me, the meaningless but funny wang lala song that venkat will sing, the possibility to make fun of the innocent jun kai and the way how jason tries to forbid me from singing! i really enjoy all these and these 4 weeks will definitely be memorable. nevertheless, sporadically, i will tend to miss kenny and yuan rong. still remember how i always make fun of yuan rong's height and as for kenny, i remembered how he stood by me when i was feeling really down during the 2nd week of bslc. he really cheered me up and though we had conflicting views at times, they were always resolved so quickly.

Well, hopefully, my whole bunk gets to stay together after this 1 month though i doubt so. and yesterday was really tiring when i read the many procedures that we have to go thru juz to confirm a place in an overseas university. haiz, mayb i need to reapply again this year if i can't leave for my studies next year~

Anyway, today i went for my medical checkup at paragon. the equipment used was techonogy savvy and i'm quite heavy now! so paiseh la!!! think i've been eating too much in eti these few days! i need to go on a diet! bRR! then i went to shop around for a while be4 meeting ding hao, yuan shao, cheng hyork for a movie--the omen. it wasn't a really good movie i think cos it cant really capture the audience attention and lacks the x factor! even the so-called scary parts only managed to tickle us. blaa... ok, anyway then we met han qun for dinner at fei cui! ordered a lot of food and i was so fuLL!! anyway, yuan shao seems to have put on some weight! OOPz hahaa, ah yO! hmmm and we were planning to have a bbq on 1st July so as to celebrate all our birthdays! haha and coincidentally, mine falls on the 2nd! yeah! perhaps it would be held at kenneth's house and yeah i can show off my mahjong skills then! hmmm~ i'm looking forward to it!

ETI

so last week was my 1st week for ETI! haha... well i'll be attending a short 1 month basic course and may be posted to other units to specialise in diff fields of combat engineers. hope i get into bridging cos the machines and technology involved are quite cooL~

anyway, i shall talk more about my bunK! my bunk is something like a pig sty, small and cramp initially but when i got used to it on the 2nd day i found it quite cosy. perhaps it's due to the companions i have in the bunk. my bunk consists of 8 corporals, 3 from HC, 2 from RJ.. haha a clever bunk huh! hahaa. and those from HC are lip yong ( whose bed is juz beside mine) and corwin who's from 7C. Those 2 from RJ are jun kai and dingwen. dingwen is more of the serious type but still slack! hahaha and always ensure that he'll catch some slp after breakfast. jun kai acts like a little kid usually, and is a little stubborn at times too! however, he's a nice person la. As for the other 3 bunk mates, 1 is jason ( who's my sispec bunkmate), 1 is Venkat and the other is Calvin! I didn't really have much oppotunities to talk to calvin initially but after i struck a conversation with him 1 day in the lecture room, found that he's an approachable guY! as for venkat who's my bed buddy, i dun really know much of him but he's a perfectionist! he likes his area to be clean! haa and he always ensures we pass our stand by area!

So, my bunk is full of people whom i can communicate with! and most importantly, i came in knowing 3 of them! hahah and lip yong has always been in the same platoon as me since BMT, and now we're bunkmates! hahaa..

and as for today, i went out with evelyn initially to shoP! but we din get anything cos nothing seems appealing~ but when we went for the PC show, we were reinvigorated! and when we looked at the slashed prices, i became a little impetuous and almost bought the sony MP3! well, i shall get my MP3 player next year since i do not need it now. and i have to get 2 com next year! 1 for my house and the other for studies! haha and i shall get 1 more webcam. oh my... i really relish at the thots of studying in UK! after that we met up weed and eileen for dinner at my all time favourite ICHIBAN BOSHI! oosh! haha i ate the buta don! so nice!!! oishi! and then we went for the most sinful giant earthquake! hahaa~

anyway, i received the dsta mag which is really interesting! with all the physics explanation and models, i felt rejuvenated-- back to a student! and i shall bring that book into my camp if not the grooves of my brain will start to close up! haha!
