last hcco performance!

well, yesterday was really a wonderful day! have been taking photos for the whole day and took a total of 51 fotos... though i flopped my solo and meng die was really a flop, i did not feel that devastated as i've long regarded the showcase as my last performance which was a success~ heee... yEpz, shall put looooooots of photos in this blog and have a short caption for each of them.

dissection...

i'm feeling a lot... today wasnt a very good day for me... we had dissection for bio prac... i was so excited initially cos i'm finally able to get my hands on some living creatures and to explore the wonders of their bodies.

i even asked our ct to take some pics for us as she sat in the lesson to learn more... after witnessing the pinning session of the rat on the tray, i took a picture of it...

then i noticed some of my classmates were crying and our bio tutor was showing us the crucified form of the rat. and i came to realise that i couldnt take any more pics, i dun have the heart to... it juz seems so cruel and unethical. i felt darn sad for the rat... ppl may think it's funny to feel so... and i did feel that it's strange for ppl to feel sad for animal experimentations in the past and was an adherent of such experimentations as i strongly believed in the deaths of animals for science progression.

but then, after i really got my hands on a rat and having its innocent face staring at me as it was pinned down on the tray, i couldn't help but feel sad... and that all this was... hai... who are we to kill them? and now i really understand how those vehement supporters of animal rights have felt over this controversial issue. after having this 1st hand experience, my views have totally changed... i'm pro towards animal rights now! well, i hope that such a thot do stir up such emotions in contemporary scientists, or else what's the purpose of having us called humans? blaa... and i felt real guilty for my insensitivity towards these animals be4 the practical... hai...

why am i feeling down for no reason? haha, i dun understand too... mayb cos i felt guilty hitting chee so hard and pulled his hair. was feeling damn bored today la, that triggerred my siao genes. the sadness may also be attributed to the bz wk i have.. i hate tues! after dismissal at 520, there's still chem s at 530 till 730, when it gets real dark! hai...

but was quite happy at 8+ cos zx sent me a nice msg~ well, such a nice senior he is! din forget me while in camp! hahah getting mushy... but then yuPz, was quite touched la =) thanx zx! *pIak!* haha, our gesture towards each other when in sch last year~ still remember when i reached sch everyday last year, there's this senior to chat with always! hahah and it's always so fun~ haha.. but now, ya.. kinda ping dan le... reach sch, juz stone at bench or chat with my classmates about superficial stuff... argH! the more i listen to shen ri kuai le the worse it gets. blaaa..

haha... today was a short short day! yeah~ think i gone mad in class a few times during chem and maths, yest toO! hahah think i was too bored but i think our chem teacher is nice to play with. anyway, the point isnt this... the main point is i had XIAO LONG BAO TODAY!

oh my!!! i think i'm in love with long bao lor. since bt has ended, i had my 3 dinners at fei cui and 1 afternoon tea at ding tai and another dinner at bugis with chee, all with the 'accompaniment' of LONG BAO! hahaha... and today wasnt an exception. had this sumptuous dinner with sai eh and she admits that the long bao is betta than ding tai's 1 too~ hahah another supporter gained yeah! oh, and we were really so 'chop chop' in fei cui. 1stly, we ordered our dishes while waiting for our turn. then when the food came simultaneously, i gorched everything in half an hour?!

i had suan la mian again! hahah! VERY NICE i love spicy stuff!

think i was too hungry too as i had my lunch at 11am and was waiting for dinner! argH! then, went shopping with her haha... she's still as bubbly, and with her innate craziness, it's really so fun walking around with her ahhah! as we made our way home, yupz, her condition 'worsen' and we lafed throughout the whole journey! hahah! hope to meet her next wk perhaps! ooo my! hope my parents will bring me to ding tai tmL!!!

tiring but fulfilling day

caught fantastic 4 today with marilyn, well... the movie din meet my expectation cos it does not have much action actually... and the actions are so normal, not that thrilling enuf. haha, i even slept at the beginning cos i was too tired.

my class gals, took it today out of boredom...

ok, the most important and memorable event was what that happened yesterday! it was our showcase yesterday; the day finally had arrived, after 2 days of intensive training, we were going to get up onto the stage and just do our very best. for me, i was so stressed and afraid before the whole thing due to the last few bars of meng die--- my solo. nv in my 6 years of cello life have i played before such a long solO, furthermore, it's a dui chang with gao hu. and i've usually flopped at that part during practices, just cant seem to be able to calm myself down to play well.

but lao tian zuo mei, everything went well yesterday night. when we were approaching the epilogue of meng die, my heart was thumping real hard. i kept humming the melody to myself, hummed zong hu's solo melody which is similar to mine and then gao hu's 1... and tada, it's my turn finally, and sooner that i've realised, it ended well... i immediately saw ah yin's giving me the thumbs up signal at the audience seat, and geraldine did that too and said very good. at then, i knew that i did not let anybody down, i did not ruin hcco's reputation... yeah =).

as we make our way down the stage, geraldine told me bu chuo ar... and my cello ppl were saying good good, i felt so relieved and accomplished. well, of course, i was so touched and cried~ hahaa... funny right, but then i just feel that i've done it! the opportunity given to prove myself wasnt wasted =). i still think the hardest part of the solo is to dui chang with gao hu, that's the real huge barrier...

a pity that i did not bring my camera to the concert hall as i did not want to distract myself and thus did not take any pic with dyb. but then hope that we can take more during arts festival~ after the concert, went to nic's house to stay and we played mahjong until 2am. only managed to hu2 once and wen jie was the loser! HEHE cos he did not manage to hu2~ nicholas, you're really a nice person anyway~! thanks for your bolster, if not i may not have slept so soundly and would have been dead in sch today! hahah! then, we had a nice breakfast in the canteen after assembly and a nice foto was taken by shengrong. of course, we were late for maths lec~! haha!

well, come to think of it, i miss meng die quite a lot, feeling quite lost and kong xu now... it seems so fast, and the end of hcco career is so real now... 1 more concert and off we go... poof~ arGH! no more brush-like hair to pull, no more tian neo to call, no more adugen to fire to ryu, no more phoon to call; well, only some ppl will understand wat i'm toking anyway, yuPz...

ok, today's solo was much betta after practising for a few times. but i'm still worried about tml's concert when i suddenly peng kui when it's my turn to fu xuan... argh... then i'll really malu, cant perform well when i'm under stress and adrenaline rush! haiz... pray hard...

ok, LONDON won the IOC! so hapPY for her! and yuPz, went for dinner at bugis today with wen chee! haha our 1st dinner, he's so funny la and yuPz, he is really a great eater i have to admit. 1st time some1 can beat me in eating. hmmm but he's so shy in front of the camera! hahahah! gu yi kaijiao hiM~ well, tml will be our last official concert before the arts fest, haiz... will miss u boY! but wateva it is, take care lots! =) and dun grow too fat... he's quite fat actually ahaha.. cos he got small small tummy.

today was an eventful cum emotional day. in the afternoon, as we arrived at SCH, the 1st thing i did was to find my dunman kids! ooo gosh, they're still the same... miss them lots! esp my small vincent!

we had a MAJESTIC START with dunman as they played a majestic song to welcome the guest of honour~ well, kinda expected they'll play these cos they're still the best... hahaha! and they shone most brightly in today's rehearsal. their tian wen moved me to tears cos i played it before. actually, cried quite badly cos it was so touching i could envisage myself sitting there if it was 2 years ago... and i was reminiscing about the past syf with dunman... how i wish there's such a concert then~ and we can show off our dunman spirit and skills. anyway, hcco is gonna be a lafing stock after today. haha! just hope we will improve tml~

after which, me, ks, eileen and kevin went for class dinner at marina. the turnout was quite pathetic with onli 10 ppl. but it's still quite fun la though i was quite dead for a while cos i really threw my own face during the solo before that. everybody will rem me as the lousy cellist from hcco de.. hai~ whateva.. i shall ku lian tml...

ok, went to pool with them and it was quite fun la when i understood it a little and me and ah qiu played cheat! oOpz, that's y we won the last game hahah! well, then on our way home, met with some unhappy events on the fone, but then was so touched by wat wen chee said! thanx... =) well, anyway, i love dunman, esp dunman co! u all rox! and i'll always be part of dunman! and today encompassed the feelings of xi nu ai and le, together with gan dong~ ;)

we caught batman at 120pm at cine. a nice show with powerful sound and visual effects! will watch batman returns when he combat with joker hehe! then, we went for 'high tea' at coffee bean! crapped so much and tok about our past. the corniest part is when we remembered that julyn was always picked by lian han chuan and mdn ting. hehe actually, lian han chaun likes to pick on me and her cos we're always so noisy! and mdm ting always accuses her of depriving my 100 marks for maths! hahaha...

hahaah today was gambling day again! wa it has been 6 months since the last time i played with those tiles! hehe, went for a swim in the afternoon in the hot scotching sun! GREAT! shiok man! and i think i got darker.. hehe... like love the sun... then went to meet milly and kiwi and ee suan to have a mahjong session at my house! but we suddenly had the urged to have ding tai feng and ah suan really wans it so we went! hahaha.. and crap so much and laf so much.. nice to be with this bunch of pPL! esp kiwi, din really tok to him for so long le... xu xu jiu...

hahah! din post yest... these 2 days have been tremendously fun! wa, life after bt's akin to life after prelims as we are tested on 2 years of stuff for all the 3 sciences. gross!


gross it may be, but after it comes crazy fuN! yeah! so far got a nice batman shirt from pam, ming jit, sai eh thanx! hahah very nice i like it... think i'll receive my presents 1 by 1... who ask my bday to be on sat! hahaha.. but then it's still post blocks.. great! then yest we had suki buffet! gosh! so darn full and fattening... and we were charged for wastage; ordered really a lot and kinda guilty when we thot of those malnourished children in africa...
