hmmm, this gonna be quite random. just feel quite disappointed with some friends some times. like cos he/she is one whom will not wait for others? and will only be close to you if u have something he or she can 'take advantage' of and that person doesn't really feel dependable? well, but luckily there're still loads of dependable frens around.

it doesn't really help listening to liang zhu at 1am while doing my lab report cos it tends to make me teary. start to miss things and yeah cf, i do miss playing the cello with u! argh! the solos and duets are so emotional. boo.

wow, was out for more than 24 hours since saturday. kelvin met me at hammersmith station to do groceries shopping for edwin's bday dinner in the evening and i also oriented him to this nice small little town while serene went to get edwin's attas cake. then, we went over to evelyn gardens to start preparing our food. yest was my first time making fried rice and i decided to just fry it with garlic! and it turned out really nice! and we had roast duck too! dinner was really marvelous. i think edwin is quite touch really. kok chong and yuan wei also joined us to celebrate since they also know edwin.

But our surprise didn't stop there. We then made an excuse to get fruits but went to get the super attas cake! and i think edwin was shocked that there was a cake for him cos we kept asking him to take the pizza as the cake and just cut it like it's a cake. the super nice choc cake has really thick layers of quality chocolate with some nuts in it and there's also truffle hidden in the cake! gosh! totally good stuff. and edwin had to pose a lot for the camera. haha!

and then, we went out exploring fisher hall and there were like 20 doors in 1 straight line and we were joking we're entering into the world of narnia and we also saw tan kah kee and chi high! haha~ such stupid jokes, and that house is really apt for halloween! some of the structures are really scary i felt.

alright, and after we went back to southwell, we presented edwin his present- H&M scarf! bought it from oxford circus. i think he was totally touched yesterday! well, and i really had a lot of fun myself... feels really homely to be with them, argh...

ok and after staying over, i met jk to get to wilson house for dsta lunch gathering. weehon came down from kings and xiuhuan from bath. nice jiahui cooked curry but i only had a bit of it. then we went to walk around high ken street.

and then i went to meet kang yee, bq and rachel at chinatown! we had asian food at this malaysian restaurant and i had curry noodles! not bad actually.

well, and on the way home i was emo-ing to ky cos i really miss the evelyn gardens ppl. after all the fun, it's back to 'reality'... i really like their company a lot. boo... maybe i should go there stayover every weekend. haha sounds like i'm going back to my home...

Guess this will be my last everyday-post for this week before school starts tomorrow. yeah, met eugene at chinatown today and we have never met up be4 in Singapore! haha, had lunch with him at a 3.80 shop and i had niu nan hor fun. it's quite nice, just a little salty, then went to shop a little at covent garden before going to his hostel. He bought a nice sweater and I bought 2 really nice scarves from H&M! really love the scarves and i have found a very nice way of wearing them! haha~

alright, then met edwin, kang yee and kelvin first at covent gardens to shop be4 meeting junkai and serene for dinner! well, camwhored along the way! and yeah it feels really good to be walking with these close friends. very carefree indeed and feels like holidaying!

and then we had dinner at this jap place called misato at chinatown! wow, it has a REALLY long queue and its serving portions are REALLY huge! most of them cant finish what they've ordered while serene and I shared a couple of dishes like salad, rice and sushi!

wee~ Had a really really nice meal with these frens, and i'm really happy today. Oh well, and next week i shall cook for 5 days be4 eating out on weekends again! yup, so it's alright to splurge a little this week!

Another happy day just passed quickly! Well, Sing Soc had a london tour but we din join at all cos we thought it would be really hard to camwhore and do the things we like if there're so many ppl. I'm glad that we went out with the Pembridge ppl. Sister halls indeed. yeah... and we started off at Westminster and to buckingham palace. and i forgot what the other buildings are called! haha!

Then, we slowly made our way to oxford circus by foot and bing qiang got his shoes at lilywhite at a really good price! wow oxford circus is really really crazy! but there're so many shops there and i think i wanna vist H&M 1 day or even tmr! after shopping there, we went to baywater for lunch! Was totally famished by then and i had char siew rice with kao ya! and we all shared this crispy noodle and bee hooN! argh! heavenly! and i spent 8 pounds for dinner but it was worth it i felt. haha!

wee! I think i'm like blogging everyday! i'm really happy and contented tonight. well, today i had a 3h safety talk in school and i really fell asleep in the middle of the talk! then accompanied edwin to enquire about his bank account be4 meeting prathap to do a 4km run at barons' court!

and then met the pembridge singaporeans, bq, rachel and pear at nottinghill gate for dinner at this super uber cool thai restaurant. it was really really delicious! argh and spicy enough! argh, i wouldn't mind going back again for dinner there and also indian food! it was a really really fun dinner! crapping with them and bq, and i think rachel has this silent but funny sense of humour! she makes me laf when she diao bq. haha! But sadly, due to an enormous influx of customers continuously, we couldn't sit there for long and had to go at 9, so julie and barbara joined us later and we went over to nandos to have more food! but i din get any cos i think my shorts are really squeezing my fats out already. Really hearty dinner, sitting there, talking and eating. nice and warm. They're ppl of my frequency i feel.

And then we celebrated barbara's bday at guiyi's flat! Hope barbara likes what we have prepared for her. I bet she does anyway.

Well, was telling guiyi that we should have outings with them in the midst of our studies sometimes to relax ourselves, and i think that will give us motivation to study actually! P.S. somehow I like it a lot when ppl say i look really young, and that i look like younger than the SG guys in my hall, and even bing qiang says he feels older when he's younger than me by 2 years! haha!

Satisfied, Homely, Happy. These are the 3 words to sum up these 2 days actually. Well, went to Kelvin's house for stayover yesterday night and had dinner with the evelyn garden's ppl! I'm really happy to have dinner with them. had it with Charles, edwin, kelvin, serene and strider just popped in. kinda coincidental that almost everyone there is a hwachongnian! Yup, and played bridge with edwin, kelvin and serene after that! It was really a cosy night cos i'm in a familiar env. actually went there to get back this kinda familiarity. well, miss them...

Oh and today we had parsons dinner at Chinatown together with Pembridge! We were initially segregated from the rest of Pembridge and yeah thought it wasn't a fun dinner initially. but i thought the ppl at my table are really nice, with mark, james, wl, babara, laya, gy and julie! haha, somehow i think mark, james and babara like to be with us. haha! kinda thick skin ya...

And the really high part was when guiyi suggested to visit bing qiang! and we went wild over there! cos it was an asian table with 3 other singaporeans, 1 malaysian and some HK and macau ppl! really fun talking to them and 1 of the HK-ers wanna masquerade as Singaporeans, so i asked him to speak Singlish and he says 'No smoking LA'. and i said 'why AR?' and he went blur! and there was this SG PR who's thai and 1/4 spanish and she was telling me she's from sg. and i din belive her so i tested her again. and she said i'm singaporean can ANOT! hahah! and i was like can.. can... it was really really funny. and the la, lei, lor, hor kept flying across the table and it was really so well stressed on! Felt so homely and happy then, our table was the rowdiest i think! yeah hope we'll have an outing soon.

alright! there was a boat party yesterday and it was really quite fun! Though London night scene was quite bland, the company is still nice. Argh, i can't wait to cruise along paris's river, still can remember the memorable eiffel tower sparkling at night! argh~!

yeah... and got to know this other singaporean from pebridge hall called bing qiang. nice guy to talk to! yeah i'm kinda looking forward to thursday's chinatown dinner and tonight will be staying over at kelvin's place and having dinner with edwin and gang! woots!

alright, it has already been a couple of days since touching down. 3 days perhaps... everything hasn't really started yet and in the midst of doing many admin stuff like getting a line, clearing my bank draft and stuff.

Talking to the brits seems a little chore cos i would need to get use to the different accents that they have. but well, it's fun trying to pick up their accent. so today was my first day at school and went for the 'orientation' with kang yee and the other chem ppl. yeah so toured around south kensington during the intermittent long breaks.

and these few days were spent mingling with the hall ppl and they're really friendly but whether we can become close, i'm quite skeptical. And there's another brit and chinese doing the same course as us! the chinese girl seems very enthu to go school together. and today was some bank draft incident that really made me quite sad. haha, i kept trying to convince myself that they couldn't wait cause our timetable is quite different but somehow sensitivity got the better of me. and it was written on my whole face. haha but kelvin was quite amusing when he tried to cheer me up. thanks anyway! he was really quite amusing. well, i would really want to look things in a different perspective but somehow that's my weakness. hai...

Oh no, time is really running out. I've already started missing my home and parents. hai... guess i haven done enough for them for these past 20 years. well, on a lighter note, yesterday was fastest fingers first when everyone tried to snatch the 'better' seats on A380! I managed to get the 2nd deck which only has 10 rows of economic class. happY! will be sitting beside jk and ser. yeah! cos ser was faster than wl, he couldn't choose the sit beside me, but luckily seat beside kelvin was vacant. yeah, at least we all got the better seats.
