This week will be filled with anticipation as i look forward to the dsta bbq on this coming friday. I get to mingle with those seniors as well as have fun with some of my batch scholars.

went for the UK fair yesterday and when i visited the imperial college london stall, it was swamped with dsta seniors! haha had quite a good chat with them and managed to understand more about imperial and the study life. they juz came back after their 1st year of studies and astonishingly, they have already toured europe! OosH! i'm so looking forward to that! well, i guess cos they're quite slack in their 1st year. then, i visited the oxford booth and wow, u can really see the difference in the way representatives from these 2 uni speak. coincidentally, i talked to this dunman senior from oxford and he shared with me his experiences. and i was kinda dismayed to hear that there isn't any s'poreans in the chem department yet! ok, guoren shall be the 1st. oh my, i'm afraid if i am able to get into that sch, it will not be as fun as imperial where i get to see my seniors! i guess some things have to be compromised huh... between homely and a greater exposure, i'm quite uncertain which i would choose. hai.. well nevertheless, i shall apply to oxford this year and see how everything goes. but i kinda like that sch structure. gu se gu xiang!

ok, then ks and i met lee kai, evelyn and qiuting for a lakehouse movie at suntec! then we had a nice marche dinner at suntec too! well, we chatted really a lot yesterday. and was quite shocked to know that my pw leader jie chao got into cambridge! haha~ good for her la! and we kept teasing her and ks-- the 2 si dui tou. it was quite an enjoyable night yesterday. and i also like the lightings in that marche! a pity we cant dine in the swiss house if not it would have been better~

yeah i felt so relieved after typing everything out. to relive yesterday's happiness cos today was total boredom staying at home and having a headache and taking a nap. ok i'm looking forward to next fri's bbq yeah! and 18 more days to our POP! oh my! gambatte!

my new mp3 player!

hohO~, this is my new mp3 player~ it's the newest samsung model and i just got it yesterday with yitian. it comes in black and silver and apparently i chose the black one which seems more appealing. along with it were numerous free gifts, like an adaptor, a bassy neckband and a speaker. it has a 2gb memory; more than sufficient for me as i only like specific music genre. wee~ so satisfied with my purchase. and after which, we went to shop around and i just realised that she doesn't mind having a kushimbo buffet! it's quite unlike a girl i think cos they tend to be loogey at these kinda buffet. she's also a much efficient 'eater' than most girls. haha!

ok, then i met alvin, hui zhi and marilyn for a simple dinner at marina square's imperial treasure. i kinda like that place cos of its cosy seats and its classy lightings as the restaurant's backdrop. oO had a satisfying meal with them as we talked about our future plans as they're going to start their sch term sooN~ wow, time flies for them! but not for us~ we still have another 1 year odd to go! argH! alright, at least another 1 month for me to pass oUT! i look forward to this day!

yeah.. i'm feeling exuberant while typing this now! just attended the dsta scholarship award ceremony with my parents! I'm excited for 2 things--- 1. I have many frens in dsta! 2. I'm so looking forward to the activities that they have planned for us!

ok there are like quite a no. of people whom i know. eg, lee kai ( jc classmate), guo ren( my sec 3 & 4 classmate and we're the only 2 studying chem, coincidence!), jun kai(shared a cab with him when we went for 2nd round interview back to tekong), weiliang(edb scholarship 2nd round, we were in the same grp), hui han( my bmt bed buddy who always help me lots!), chee jian( just got to know him today! some1 who has about the same freq as us!) haha i feel so lucky actuallY~

chee jian, wei liang and ME! hahaa coincidentally we're from the engineers home! those 2 will be sirs in cpre.. haha~ too bad i'm from bridging nevertheless we're engineers!

firstly, we get to attend cookery lessons and the video looks something like iron chef haha! and the students will be wearing those tall hats and aprons! oh my i think i will cook stones instead! and u the best thing is to get to cook with ur frens! and we get to learn the westerners etiquette when having their meals and i'll learn how to use my knife and fork while practising on cooked food! cooL~ and we get to go to OBS together! yeah! games and frens and what else more can i ask?

i also relish at the thot of studying next year cos it's quite confirmed that we can go abroad to study next year! hee..flying to uk, enjoy the weather and culture and study in a college which i like! oh my~! and i've caught up quite a lot with hui han today!=) i'm juz looking forward to the things that they will be teaching us and the exciting times that i'll be spending together with these bunch of frens!

Cougar 2/ 04 birthday!

so what's the big thing of the day?! yeah! that's BMT platoon 2 section 4 bunk mates BIRTHDAY! wee~! and in fact, in a few more minutes it'll be my bday! and today, we had a classy kinda barbeque~ with classical music as the backdrop, this bbq experience is really quite a unique one. it's much different from those crazy bbq sessions that we usually have; and much different from the usual gatherings that we have in town. it's just heartwarming... hmmm but sadly i only get to play 1 round of mahjonG and missed the chance of playing bridge. the food was just alright~ hahaa cos i have 'great' cooking skills! but i like the cake that we had and i guess that was the finale~ and it's quite a beautiful cake though it's only adorn with chocolate fudge! and we sang a birthday song to ourselves with shawn, the great singer harmonising with us~ it sounds really nice and it's quite a rhapsody. kinda touched by it... in chi-->wen xin.

it's really nice to see that your frens are well. a pity that my bed buddy, hui han couldn't join us cos he's in brunei now. kinda miss him; anyway, i'll get to see him during our scholarship presentation next fri~ shall take a photo with him! it's quite a feat for our section to be that close still after we graduated from bmt and embarked onto different paths. it's quite a rare sight as bmt is usually a short memory for most but not for us~ haha... and bing fu suggested doing some exciting things in our next outing, perhaps escape? hahaa.. ok~ hope we get to do some exciting things then!
