sispec evaluation

haha this topic sounds serious but i shall put it on a lighter note. well, sispec is really dead, no life and surprisingly, it is not as vibrant as bmt. and it's also very hard for us to communicate with some sgt cos of the difference in edu lvl i guess. oOpz, sounds discriminating, but then the frequency just isn't right.

hope none of the sgt sees this. but 3 out of 4 of my sergeants are very nice people and my sec com rox too. from today's soc practice and the encouragement he gave us, it kinda shows that he can be a trustworthy fren and commander who will help us in times of adversity.

well, would not like to comment on the other sergeant. but juz 1 statement for him, "you only instil fear in us and NOT respect." i kinda feel sorry for him cos respect is a cornerstone of a commander. no respect given = a lousy commander, or rather a lousy person.

and the warrant officers seem quite distant for us, cos there's definitely a big age gap. at least i felt closer to my bmt officers who are like 20 yrs and are from JCs. and it's also easier to extend our scholarship interview timing when we approached these sirs cos they UNDERSTAND the importance of these interviews unlike here, whereby we have to explain, or rather plead.

as for my section mates, they're alright i guess juz that we're more reserved at the start. and i really miss bing fu's singing and jokes, and my other section mates company; the food session we had together every break and the cosy little bunk. nevertheless, i've managed to make some closer frens in section 4, like jason, yuan rong, kenny! and antonio~ hoPe that we'll all get closer as time goes by...

posting

hoho~ early in the morning 10am, the miw site was jammed. but after 1h of exasperation, i finally got to log into my account and realised that i got posted to SISPEC. quite happy and satisfied too. cos 1stly, it's not OCS and 2ndly it's still a command school. =) i wont be confined for 3 wks! yiPpIe~

then i went to my aunt's house to have mahjong session with my cousins and her! haha.. yeah and we played from 130-9pm... yuPz, in front of so many gao shou, of course i lost but mahjong is still fuN!!!

only 3 from my section went command sch. kenneth got the same vocation as me while hui han got into ocs and i'm proud and happy for hiM! my bed buddy wor! but the rest also got into some slack units and i'm a little envious actually, ooPz! =)

frenz foreva~

today was cougar platoon 2 section 4 outing =) and i was excited about it when i woke up this morning. met up hui han, chyork, bing fu, lip yong and shawn to have a delicious and extravagant lunch at grand plaza park royal hotel. it's my 1st time having a buffet in a hotel with frends. but the feeling was great cos i feel so adult there though we did a few stupid things. =) the food was nice, but the sushi was a little disappointment. i love the small exquisite cheese cakes and the crunchy sausage.

then we went to meet up with yuan shao, kiwi, han qun and ding hao at orchard to have our ktv session. it was held at party world which wasnt a really good place. and we sang to the top of our voices, esp me, cos i was very high then! the returned freedom spurred my adrenaline rush~ haha, and i like singing with them, cos we're of about the same octave, so it's easier to adjust my tune haha~

after which we had a simple dinner at ps food court and an earthquake at swensens be4 bidding farewell to each other.

This may be my last time meeting some of them be4 we get our posting and get posted to different units. yepz, that's a fact and we definitely have to part. though sad i am, life will still move on and i cant possibly keep thinking about the good old past... nevertheless, i would like to dedicate this to my bunk mates:

reflection trail cum SHOPPING!!!

today was our reflection trail, wa it's quite a chore to wake up early in the morning after so many days of breaks and after i kept sleeping for 3 days cos of my beloved FEVER! argH!H!H!HH! ok, that stupid fever made me stay home for 3 DAYS!!! but nvm, today i really enjoyed myself!

reflection trail was not as boring i thought it to be, and the most interesting part was the visit to the newater plant, with its interior adorned with high tech instruments, like so many flat screens, and even an underground fountain. i really think water helps to beautify a place greatlY! the trail through the process of newater treatment was also enriching and stimulating! cooL! hahah!

anyway, after we had our trail, some of us went for lunch together at food court. then, me and shawn had the craving to SHOP!!! hahah, and so me, shawn, kheng wee, han qun and ding hao made our way to our dearest town to shop! ok, kiwi bought a bot(how u spell that?!) shorts, i bought a topman shirt and shawn bought the most! he bought mask, sleeveless shirt and 2 cds! haha he rox! he's a fun guy to hang out with~ and also good company!

oh then we had taiwan MEE SUA! hahah i think that rox man! oh my, my stomach is rumbling now! and kheng wee ate a lot today, they also had gelare which unfortunately, i was unable to eat cos waffle is heaty and i had a wonderful sore throat today. haha! well, we shopped till 7 and yeah, it was a really fun day!

haha, oh today's thursday and i juz came back from a shopping trip with mj, min yan and mollie not long ago~ haha it was quite a fruitful trip and i got a pair of shoes together with 2 shirts~ wee! hahaa, shopping is fun and i need more colours cos army is juz green!

well, now i shall blog about my pop yesterday. Yesterday's parade marks the end of my BMT life before i continue with my next phase as a soldier. Actually, this sojourn in BMT was filled with fun and laughter--- no stress, no responsibilities and most importantly, the presence of so many fun-loving friends! The ever toughest thing that i've accomplished was the 24km road march during my stay; and the most memorable thing that i took with me were the times when section 4 plays and have fun together. sadly, we will all be separated as we're posted to different units and have to adapt to another new environment again. i guess i really dislike this transition period as do most other ppl feel. but then, life still has to move on and yup, we'll still meet up some other day to reminiscence the good old days! btw, there'll be a section outing to k box and an extravagant lunch on next wed!

Yuan Shao--- you've really been a great fren these 3 months! Thanks so much really, and i know we can clique after toking to u =). it's really a yi han that we cant go taiwan together cos of the short break, but then we can always meet up still and fly off together in future with chyork and the rest! hope u do well in ur future endeavours and nv ever
forget this noisy fren of urs!

Cheng hyork--- the moment u told me u're from dunman, i really felt more qing qie towards u! i guess that's wat we call the dunman spirit? u've been a wonderful fren during these 3 mths, and nv fail to gossip together with me! haha, and nv fail to help me whenever i have some problems! well, really enjoy gossiping with u as i feel safe gossiping with u! haha, remember to stay in contact ya?!

hui han--- you're a really really supportive fren i can say. still rem the time u helped to pack my field pack cos i dun noe how to squeeze things and those supportive words that u said to me when i almost gave up the 12km road march? yUPz, thank you so much! think i would have died if without u! so now i'm gonna give u a big bear hug! *hugs* thanks so much buddy! hope to meet u up some day too!

bing fu--- hey hey u this corny piG! whole day juz noe how to eat and sing! haha, u really bring lafter to me everyday, i'll only attribute this to u k?! haha so be honoured! hmmm, find the times when we kept zi qi qi ren so funnY! when we think ourselves as undercovers assessing these bunch of recruits, and those stupid reasons that we can come out with when we made a blunder! oh my, i'll really feel lost i think if i were to be in a bunk without some1 like u... well anyway, we'll still keep in contact ya? and u better not forget me!

Kiwi--- hey hey, u've been such a long fren le hor, since j1! i always enjoy ur company! and ur soft toy face and innocent actions always bring us joy and helps to forget our tiredness! anyway, will definitely miss u when we are posted to diff units! hmmm, so u take care k! and i am sure we will meet up stilL! and yuP! i'm sure my sweeping skills have improved K!

Mr wee han qun--- haha i dun noe why ur testimonial din appear but nvm i shall type another 1 for u! u've been a very truthful and trustworthy fren! reallY~ feel comfortable around u too! i noe u feel the same way too la but nvm i shall say it for u! HAHAH! eh thanks for helping us to sweep the bunk whenever u finished ur duties lei! if not for u, i think we would have done much more pumping! u're a very mature fren too who doesn't get pissed off easily! yuPz, we muz keep in contact ar!

RESULTS!

wee! HC did it again! this time we got 43++% straight As! and i'm happy to be 1 of them. but then my chem s got a U!!! and maths s got a merit while my gp got a b3~ hee.. quite happy still! cos i will not be rejected by imperial... hee.. really hope to fly next year, hope everything goes well! there's still 1 more hurdle! =)

and my class got quite a no. of straight As too~ about half the class.. and we went to have marche as a celebratioN! time flies man, still remember i saw how those seniors got 4 As last year and now we had gotten back our results. oh my god~ we received our results outside the audi and there were cries of joy and sadness... I saw how some of my frens who cried so badly cos they got 4 As, cos they have never gotten an A in HC. I'm really happy for them! =) well done man! and wow! thumbs up for Mrs Foo! the no. of As for Bio has been increasing together with the no. of classes! pro! this year we had 87.5% As and 97.7% A-B.
Oh my! hahah i feel so proud to be in HC! hehee =) yeah I LOVE HC!!! MUAK!!!

today is the release of a level results and it's 10am now. A mixture of feelings i have--- nervous, scared, lost... wat am i going to do if i dun do well, cos there goes my future... haiz all i can do now is to pray... ...
