met ming jit!

today's quite a corny day out with ming jit. he's so darn SAN BA! actually, it's me who made him so 38! haha! met him at 6pm at tampines control but i was late again, haiz, don't untderstand why i just can't be early for once. nvm... think i'm too engrossed in my bio evolution notes, that's why.

k, bought this black pierre cardin shoes, looks not bad and very classic too. no wonder the french are always so proud of themselves and feel that they're the most classic ppl on earth. that's what i learnt from the tourguide when i visited paris this year. it costs $89, quite cheap i think for such shoes. i was having a hard time choosing between this 1 and another 1 that is made in italy. both looks nice but the 1 made in italy costs $111 after dincount. the price kinda deterred me from buying it or else i would've gone for it.



then, we continued our journey to century square to take a look at digita cameras. gosh! the prices are so darn low! i can get a 4.1 megapix sony camera at just $345. veeeeery cheap! but then my parents will surely forbid me from buying cos they think it's a waste of money to chnage digi cam. but mine is already so lao pok. nvm, i shall slowly save up and buy it one day! then, interestingly, i met irene and amanda at century square, they were doing shopping with their families. kinda funny cos i din notice them, think it's becos of the angle of deflection is too great. oOPz! k... had a nice night with this 38 ming jit~

christmas day!

wooohoooO! this year's christmas is sooooooo memorable! well... had CCO performance in the evening from 5pm-7pm. ya... my seniors from hc and dunman came to support me and chang fang and the rest! it's really sooo nice to have such seniors! ok... from hc there are andrew, joanna, meng ni and ronnie. sheng siong came too and he even gave me a christmas card. how nice of him!haha.. then from dunman, there're ron, sheng yong, shaodong, lin hui etc. they're really big! all 20 odd years!

today's concert was quite successful, we had a majestic start with the song, ye men guan! it's so darn majestic la, then continued by the whole series of hong lou accompanied by choir and a high pitch woman singer(direct translation from chi). then we played the melodious ren shen and qu yuan.

actually, i'm very happy today and look forward to today's concert cos i finally get to see my da ge!(ron) after so long. 1 year i guess. he's really DA ge cos he's 23 years old.

hahaa... and he kept cui ing us when the concert was over cos he was very hungry. kinda expected la. but then i'm so nice, kept a big big piece of pizza for him which should be for the performer's teabreak. ok, then we quickly ask our juniors to go to suntec to book seats for us cos we had to clear up the corridor of vch but i was slacking and talking to my da ge actually. oopZ.. =) and the juniors found pastamania sadly, cos i dun really like pastamania food. quite sian! but well, it's not the food that matter but the no. of ppl eating together. wow! many seniors came, all thanks to my batch ppl and me too~ cos we called them 1 by 1 yesterday to ask them to come. wanyu, audrey, sheng yong, shaodong, shu hua, si hui, yi ru, emily, ron, lin hui, zichun. ya think these are the seniors. then for my batch there're ming jie, molly, me, pamela. and for juniors there are wilson, vincent, dorea and the sec 2s whom i dun really noe their names. so sad! it's really so fun toking to the seniors and playing with them, dun noe y i like to play with seniors hahah! esp wanyu, she has this condition reflex whereby her shoulders will jerk when i try to poke her. and we kept lafing about it! then they were saying i created a fan club for my senior and this fan club onli has 1 pres, 1 treasurer, 1 secretary and 1 member and i bao gao liao! not bad ar! then da ge had to leave early to attend another party and i gave him his card and choc and a goodbye hug~ yeah!

then, we continued chatting and lafinG hilariously! and then we went to cartel to sit and tok crap again. wa, really chatted a lot and it's really fun to juz listen to wat those big big seniors have to say, cos they're always so funny~ we gossip about some senior whom we dun really like and also ttk and glk. ah yo, so 38! well, then we took a last foto be4 leaving~ but the foto's with emily. dyb chalet and christmas eve eve

hoho~ shall squeeze 4 days of stuff into this blog. had my dunman dyb chalet from mon-wed. not bad quite fun haha. had a great time playing with my batch ppl, esp ming jit~ my childhood playmate. haha!

ok... then today's christmas eve eve, went out to get my cello back from synwin after 10 days of repairment. yeah! then met sheng siong later in the afternoon at around 3pm. went to tampines mall and century square to shop for christmas presents! quite fun buying presents for ppl esp when u dun intend it as a gift exchange but as a surprise. wanted to buy for quite a no. of frens. but in the end onli bought for 2 cos i overspent and spent over $20 over them. very broke.. need money for christmas dinner some more. well, but still it's worth it. i'm so happy now.. looking forward to tml's cco performance. some more, i'm giving ppl gifts tml... think i'm going to write my cards soon.. so exciting!

CO chalet

haha... seems like this chalet din seem very successful. but well, still had fun and lafter and also sadness and disgust along the way. think it's actually the time when u can see someone's real personality cos one tends to be less cautious of their actions when he/she is surrounded by close friends.

have witness someone being rather irresponsible and having no compunctions at all even though he's in e wrong. what's more disgusting is that he was so amused by his own antics. shameless cad. anyway, have heard bad things about this person also... nonetheless, i could care less.

ok... bbq was quite alright but i din eat much cos i cant take in too much oily food. also, witness those who juz sit and laze around and would pop out of no where immediately when the food is ready. that's quite 'cool' i think... but well, still had a great time setting up e fire with junyi, qing yu, kok, shou heng. ya, kinda lousy la we but then we still set up e fire.

met up a lot of seniors during these few days at the chalet and played mahjong with song of them, even with those i rarely spoke to. got to know them betta, like yi xuan and zi hui. yi xuan even took a foto with me.. honoured! suan them a lot during mahjong cos me and qing yu kept huing. not bad neh. played the ps too and it's quite fun cos this 'ivy' character kept winning the combat.

think this chalet has allowed me to know more about some ppl in the positive sense la. had a nice chat with boon shan at night for like 1 or 2h? whereby we sat at the bench outside the chalet and tok. peaceful and nice. tok about many many stuff, like evaluating some ppl and etc la. for e last 2 days hahaha.. i kept playing mahjong, da tong xiao sommore. and also did some voluntary work on thursday with liyu n nico.it's quite xin ku ar cos the luggage bag was faulty and the things are soooo heavY! but well, it's still a good deed.

think it's quite stress to be the organiser of a chalet i think. felt relieved when the whole thing was over. i've learnt many things actually and can understand y my fren got pissed off during chalet last year when she's also the organiser. but i wasn't pissed, juz upset at times. 1 has to take a lot of responsibility when he's the organiser, for eg organising bbq, buying food, clearing up, washing dishes etc. and if 1 doesn't perfect any of such aspects, he/she may be labelled as slack or wat other names. well, i wasn't very gd at organising bbq but luckily i have boon shan's help. i really wan to thank her a lot! also, there's many others to thank. ppl like nico for helping me to count e number of utensils and stuff and staying for almost the whole chalet. qing yu for helping me to wash the dishes and always trying to help me. (it's really not easy to wash the dishes, u get back aches lor). boon shan for helping me with the dishes, buying of food, and listening to me. chang fang for listening to me. timo for pei ing us to buy food too. liyu and nico and timo for helping me to clear up. cheers! this chalet has really made me learn many many things. still, many thanks to those who have helped me these few days and given me their support. not to forget, kok chong too who had really helped me a lot and specially came down to help me clear up. yeah~!

centad and dy dinner day~

hahah! today started off with centad in the afternoon at erm.. around 4pm. finally!! my centad has started... my group's doing on seashore diversity, basically on the diff types of algae that we can find on labrador beach. my other members are damian, ze jia, serine and fiona.. hahah nice ppl to work with~ yeah~ sui he ba... then we had some lafter and stuff while getting down to serious work. at least it's not so tense though our mentor was with us cos we joked occassionally, with me being the entertainer at times. haha!

k, then the thing ended late and i was late for my diyin dinner at rafflescity cafe cartel. we agreed to meet at 6pm but i reached at 6.40pm.. oops... quite late lei. ya, this dinner was meant for daryl cos it was his bday! kinda belated but he dun mind i think~ ya, then shou heng and kok chong joined us cos they had nac practise at 1st. and me and chang fang left 1st cos i wanna return home early to practise my cco songs. those songs are darn hard, sure to flop if sight read. anyway, i'm quite looking forward to tml's cco prac! cos the songs are nice~~~

gambling day!

hahah. nah din gamble with money la! of cos, i'm so guai~ k, met up with zhan xin, nico and qing yu for a day of cards and mahjong! woohoO~ fun! hehee, well, it's really a journey to the east for them, cos zhan xin, nico, qing yu came from woodlands, bishan and bukit kombak respectively~ hahah! everybody was late, as i've expected la, but it's alright =) cos i was playing snake with my fone and juz kept dying lor! hahah then brought zx and qy to my home 1st cos piggy nico was still ZzZZzing in his big comfortable bed haha! played mahjong at 1st, san que yi and me and qy kept winning. won a total of 6 rounds! whew! qy won 2 and zx 2 i think... but then me and qy ally so that makes zx the loser! hahaha!

ok then nico finally arrived at 3pm!!! wow... but he has a good sense of direction i guess cos i was instructing him how to come to my house thru my hp haha! but i think cos my house was easy to find too...then finallY we get to play 4 que 0 mahjong! yeah! and that zx was like emulating jay's way of singing and dancing all the way...really a torture for us! save us!!! well, think i was on a winning streak today cos i won a few rounds too after nico came, leaving zx and qy with nothing i think. but qy was quite suay cos she din win any round this time, think nico sucked her luck away.. hee.. but nvm, zx lost can liao! hahahah! i'm quite evil i think but nvm la... =) yeah, then we got down to dai dee and bridge and we keep alternating btw the 3. ben ben lei! at 1st kept losing dai dee and bridge, but then my luck changed towards the end.. yeah!!

one peculiarity is that i kept pairing with qy for bridge and at the end, nico.. hahaah no chance to pair with zx.. heng lei..~ hahah :P he keeps following the bid and bit till 4 for a no. of times. k... then played played until so mad.. it was filled with lafters all the way, all thanx to zx haha our entertainer~! then at around 6.15, we left my house and i went for dinner with nico. well, had cco today but then i was half hearted at the tot of going. so in the end, me n nico went ajisen ramen to have our dinner cos i din wan to eat food court though i was quite broke~ then, me and nico walked the whole of tm, scrutinising every level. really, almost literallY lor~ and then cs and then east link. gosh! walked for like 2h! hahaa... great!! it's quite nice juz walking like that at my own pace, relaxing and shaung...

National Treasure

haha as the title has suggested, i went to watch national treasure today with swee keat. of cos, did some work in the morning, cant slack thru my hol! haha.. it's really a nice movie i think, funny and thrilling. hahah and swee keat lafed so loudly at those comical parts. so ben ben again. then went to times with him and bought Angels and Demons by Dan Brown after having an exciting moment with The Da Vinci Code by him too. ya, was quite enthralled by his books. fascinatinG!

ya... then i juz watched 'love or money' by channel i. haha my first time watching it in fact! tot it was brilliantly made and ya, touching towards the end. it showed the true power of love that can override everything, even $1,000,000. gosh! i was so afraid that the gal was going to choose that over the guy as she had the power to make that decision then when the guy chose her instead of the mystery cheque which was worth $1.00 hahah... her speech made me feel that she may choose the cheque, but i guessed the guy had moved her with his sincerity, leading to a blissful ending. so sweet and this really makes me feel that money isn't the answer to everything...

CO cum seeing seniors day!

haha wat a dumb title but nvm.. well today had CO first in the morning in hc audi. wa~ the air con was darn cold la and i had flu today.. haiz.. bad bad. k, then later had a short short meeting and some of us, the com members together with wen jie and shou heng, went to orchard to have our lunch. gosh! i'm sooooo famished by then cos i din have breakfast and was on medication still. ya, altogether there's 8 of us.

me, eugene lim, kok chong, wen jie, shou heng, ah ma(boon shan), lixiang and geraldine. woo~ and we went there to search for our dearest j2 seniors who were sorta having a farewell lunch be4 their admission into NS. so sad rite, hahaha.. they had indonesian buffet at International building which was next to lido! wa! so ulu and we sorta din noe how to find but then alas still found it in a short time. all thanx to me hehe ;) yeah! then saw those seniors.. quite happy to see them actually cos i din see them for quite some time liao.. actually not everybody, juz some cos not close to everybody ma... impossible also hah! well, saw zhan xin, nico, sir seng, jun yi and many others. hehe! kinda fun! and we started hitting each other again! hmmm.. actually it's me who started 1st haah!... dun noe y i like to hit zhan xin so much ahha!... give him some encouragement on the back ba. ya, then we stopped in front of the buiding to tok about some stuff and mayb xu jiu a bit~ ya, gave sir seng this eiffel tower poster. it's very very well drawn i think. sadly, he's gonna enter NS the day after tml. hai... hope he likes that drawing!

k... then gave zhan xin another nice BIG SMACK be4 bidding the seniors gdbye. hahaha, well, we'll still meet them up during co chalet next wk. and the 8 of us set of for LUNCH finallY! settled down at taka yoshinoya and we ate and tok crap. hahaha tok until around 4+ lor be4 leaving and walk a bit here and there be4 returning home. had a nice time today, cos met those seniors i thinK~ will be kinda sad la cos next year they'll be gone... then no more corny ppl like zx, nico, junyi, sotonggal beside my class bench anymore to play with... hmmm... but well. life has to go on man~ brace on!

picturesque Europe

well well, returned from Europe yesterday after a short tour over there.. altogether went to 6 places and took 7 planes. a lot right.. that's due to all the transits. gonna write some important and interesting visits, not all.. hee.. there's juz too much ;)

first, i reached zurich, capital of switzerland. it's really a nice city but then we crossed the broder and got into germany to visit the blackforest. visited the cuckoo clock shop and partake in the demonstrations on making one of such clocks. it's fun and that shop sits in one of the nice villages over there.. so apparently i visited one of the villages.. very peaceful and tranquil with a small rapid or wat u call it flowing behind the house..


after returning to switzerland, we went to the snow mountain over there. it's mount titlus i think. ya.. amazing race used it before as one of the blocks.. sat in the world's 1st revolving cable car and went to the peak of the mountain. oh gosh!!! the scenery is soooo beautiful on top. it's as if we're small little angels flying above the clouds, almost literally juz that we weren't flying. yuPZ..

over at paris, of course we didn't miss out the GREAT EIFFEL TOWER. visited it in the morning and passed by it at night when we were on a cruise down the romantic river lit by lights along the river bank.


it's really gargantuan and we look so puny while standing beside it. gosh! went up the 1st level and climbed up to the second level. it's so high la... and i bought this big poster for myself to frame it up and hang it in my room.. bought some souvenirs for others too. well.. we also visited one of the most famous museum. the 'Louvre', it's very big but then i wasn't really interested in it cos it's more inclined towards christianity. ya, it's used as a palace in the past i think, the gravings on the walls and paintings on the ceiling were so fabulously made. can't really understand how ppl in the past do all this, it still seem as an impossible task to mordern man! the most significant painting in the louvre is of cos mona lisa! many ppl were crowding around it to take pictures. so squeezy! also visited this other palace yeah, its interior is about the same as the louvre and bought 1 bookmark which cost 15 euro or $30. think it's the most ex bookmark i've ever bought. it really resembles those shown in televisions or movies. quite nice i have to admit. visited their city but there isn't much thing to shop for cos the things are so ex!





then we travelled upwards to Brussels, Belgium 1st to visit the great hero munument. the small boy who peed at the bombs to prevent it from exploding and has allowed the city to be able to avert from a massive destruction. think i read it in my higher chinese textbook during my pri school. quite interesting. there were again, many souvenir shops over there too. and we bought many many many chocolates. yummy! but now i'm down with sore throat. so sian!

and we continued travelling upwards to the Netherlands, or more preferably known as Holland. visited the shoes making shop. it's very significant over there as the dutch still use such shoes during wedding or any other special occasions. bought some cute and small souvenirs over there. they were all so meticulously made. travelled on a cruise down amsterdam river. k.. this time it's not as nice as the previous cruise in paris. also visted 1 of the fishing village in holland. again, it's so peaceful and nice...

Upon arrival at London after taking an internal flight, we went for a city tour. saw the big london eye which is akin to the ferris wheel to be built in marina bay, singapore. and we visited the present queen's palace ahha.. but no one can enter it. we were juz in time to see the guards/soldiers changing duties. it's so long zhonG! gosh! haha but din get a glimpse of the queen nor his son, prince william. but still took a corny foto with 2 big burly policeman. security is quite tight ba..



also took a ride on the subway and bus, it's really a very new and exciting experience for me as it's sth like bei bao lu xing. well, the subway isn't as clean as s'pore's 1 though but then there's A LOT OF LINES. i forgot already. there's the purple line, blue line, yellow line, green line, etc etc. unlike singapore which has the north south east west and NEL. haah! very very interesting. took the subway to baker's street and visited Madame which is the famous LA XIANG GUAN. It's reallly really fun over there! cos those ppl look like real ones.

and even mistaken some real ppl as those wax figures. there's this figure which was holding on to a camera ready to take a pic of another person. then i passed by her and apologised only to realise she's a wax figure after having no response from her. my tourmate, tristine, even waited for her to finish taking her pic. so CORNY! haha.. it's reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally fun! then, went to Arsenal and the stadium where this football team originated from. sadly, we couldn't enter the stadium and onli took some pic. on the last day, we went shopping and yeah took some last fotos to mark an end to our trip. what a memorable trip...
