yeah!

yeah~ my dad's on the road to recovery! his platelets jumped from a mere 14000 to a shocking 85000 after receiving platelet transfusion yesterday~ that's good news man and he's so energetic now! wa, cant believe his speedy recovery~ yeah... hope he quickly exceed 100000 so that his condition will stabilise~ but my aunt was not so lucky, hers dropped to 27000, hope she gets well soon too. if the situation deteriorate further, she will receive transfusion too and i think speedy recovery is just awaiting her~ wish her all the best~ wanna express my gratitude to my frens who have messaged me and encouraged me =) yeah thanx! luv u guYS!

sad day =(

today was supposed to have stj at heeren marche but then my dad had to admit to hospital as he was down with dengue. haiz, kinda worried for my dad as his platelets count dropped to 14 000/mm3 when the normal count should be 100 000/mm3; a shortage of 86 000 platelets. rashes are visible now and he had 2 days of high fever since sunday~ hope he quickly quickly gets well! 7 days of hospital life; don't know how will he feel~ lonely?? hope not.

the only lucky thing is he got into class A, living alone in a spacious room with television newspapers and menus with nice meals from which he can choose from. the service's good too... i was quite surprised when i saw the type of services provided as compared to class c, no wonder the exhorbitant prices. but luckily 85% was subsidised by the government as he's a civil servant =). haiz, and the whole of next wk will be cca free for me... wanna visit my dad in the evening ma perhaps but then every wk is so bz for me. together with him, my aunt and cousin was also down with dengue but my cousin was not admitted as she had a strong immune system. well, i just hope that my dad can get well soon or else i will not be able to sleep, study or play well... shang tian bao you...

cross country cum meet dunmanians day!

hahaa, we had our annual cross country today or rather 'BIG walk' for our class todays. the males competitors were namely tiong soon, me, kee sheng and lee kai and hahah! me kee sheng and lee kai VERY ZAI... lee kai got 278th, me 300th and kee sheng 301th. dun noe why we were so proud of ourselves hahah! think we're really a corny bunch!

the sweltering weather really made us feel like roasted PIGS! haha but i wasn't sun burnt since i'm genetically dark. hmmm, ok but then turf city was quite beautiful i think, with all the nice beautiful ponds and lakes and huts(according to qiu ting) and erm, nice trimmed trees. haha, come to think of it, it's really funny~! cos while others are trying to clinch the top positions, we were walking so relaxingly!!! i even had a very heavy lunch be4 running cos i couldn't be bothered with it. k, took quite a lot of pic with the class when the whole competition ended, but those pics are in yi xin's cam! shall get from her soon. VERY VERY corny pictures we had taken. eg, having the males and females competitors to pose with their number tags as prisoners! so darn hilarious la! then we took a lot of class photos with the junior class too when the situation was quite chaotic... hahah corny again.

k, then i went off to meet ming jit, molly, pei shan and pamela to have dinner. quite a nice dinner with them. had wanted to watch hide and seek initially but the timings were bad and onli 9+ ones are available. which means that we will end at 11+ with those scary images.. not a very good idea lei~ so we went to uncle ringo and molly pam and ming jit played the pirate shiP! ahhah i din dare lor cos i'm really scared of heights! cant stand those weird feelings~! ahah and me and pei shan were looking at them while they had a great time~! =) yeah, nice nice day and tml will be stJ~ wa... think tml will take lots of pics at marche!

A sudden realisation

hahaa, ok this may not be considered as a real blog, but well feel like blogging after 2 boring days~! luckily i went for chingay to lighten up my life or else these 2 entire weeks will juz be mugging weeks. just made a sudden realisation that one of my fotos taken during CNY eve at HC is quite cute! cant really find the word to describe how i feel actually, something like that kinda 'coincidental' feeling.

A brief description of our history:
zhi wen and me are from dunman and we were classmates in sec 1 and 2, and i knew kiwi through centad talks etc etc, he was formerly from 72 but then it was discovered that he, together with 2 other guys were placed in the wrong class. a pity! anyway, it has been real nice knowing the 2 of them and toking to them~

Chingay night!!!

wooHOO~ wat a lovely friday~ well, met swee keat aka ah fat just now to catch constantine. this movie's sorta hard to understand towards the back due to the presence of so many demons and angels and most of the things seem to be related to the bible. however, it not a bad movie altogether, some parts are really thrilling and it reminds me of the book angels and demons by dan brown whereby the 'angels and demons' are humans in this bK~

this is shu cai mian~! it's really nice!!! wanna haf it again next time~ had it for lunch but it was sold out when i went back for dinner!

we walked all the way from cine to ps just to get the tix cos cine doesn't screen constantine and i wonder Y! made me walk for so long. ok... then the movie ended at 8pm cos there wasnt any earlier timings! but well it's still alright since we went to catch the chingay parade after the movie. being just a rehearsal, the route travelled by the troops were shortened to taka shopping centre and we had to walk all the way back to somerset! some ppl sat at PS there, thinking that the troops will slowly moved down. kinda suay~

ok, this's my first time watching chingay at orchard! wow~ the atmosphere was really there! betta than wat we experience when we watch on the television~ many nice and beautiful mascots. the most memorable and eye catching ones were the coca cola mascot and the dragon mascot~ think the taiwanese really did a great job. it's really fun to see ppl to dress in their traditional costumes~ adds colours to the surroundings~ it kinda boast our cultural richness to those tourists as well; makes me feel so proud to be a s'porean~ heee... cutural diversity and a unique sense of identity-->so SS ooPz heee.. but seriously, i do have such sentiments during the parade~

haha... took this photo beside my house's void deck~! don't they look funnY~ 2 plants of the same kind but 1 with totally brown leaves and the other with healthy leaves. the brown 1 is just beside the construction site; but then weird thing is why isn't the green 1 affected? considering that both trees are within the proximity of the construction site, both should be affected! hahaa, a strange phenomenon worthy of some thought hehe~!

yeah!!! today's sooooo fun! ok, started off the day with shopping at orchard with meng ni~! it's really damn shuang cos we kinda own the whole of far east whereby there's really very few shoppings~ everybody was either working or studying in schooL! ahha, wanted to buy a shirt initially, but then bought a pair of black pants in the end~! think it looks good with my purple cum pink striped polo t~ hehee... ok, then i chiong home to bake cookies for my angel and mortal which is to be given next mon aka valentine's day! hope they liek it though it's a bit erm hard~

BEST! hahaha but then really made a lot of jokes out of this game!

animal farm was real corny at times cos of some stupid actions did by some ppL~cute! then that TOOPID security guard came to ask us to end our party cos it's 10 plus le. ok, then me, pamela, yiru and lin hui took faith car home~! the car ride was darn corny lar! we fetched yiru back to kallang 1st together with lin huI~ then on the way we were suaning faith's driving skills. hahah~ and she's really quite sotong about her directions! hahaa, then we dropped yiru in the middle of BP petrol kiosk, hahah so funNY! cos it's really in the middle of nowhere. after which, faith drove me home back to tampines and we were chatting along the way~ and she really inspired me to chiong for overseas scholarship~ it really seems quite fun to study abroad! london!! my dream country to study iN! ehhee... but still cross fingers =)~! need to chioNG ar!

kk, i went to play mahjong with my cousins and her boyfriend on the 2nd day of CNY.. haha, not very pro lei, i'm kinda rate determining step; the game always got stuck when it's my turn cos i take some time to decide on which card to discard. hahaha, my aunt's soooooo pro, she plays very fast~! and i'm a bit stress until i anyhow discard! hahahah! but cousin's card was the best! kept having those darn big formations~! hahaha! ok... tml will have a very fun day out at orchard from late morning to early afternoon when everybody is at work and at school! hehehe.. so happY~ HC rox! then, will be going for DYB reunion dinner at night at molly's house~! really looking forward to it cos i can see my grand seniors and play bridge!!! those grand seniors are really grand!! ages btw 20-25 hahaha qiang rite... k~! chu san here i cuM~

CNY EVE!!!

HOHO...1st i wanna say HWA CHONG ROX! i don't know why i just feel so strongly for this year's CNY celebration at hwa chong. how should i put it? mayb it's due to the fact that it's my last year here and the mood is really there with those nice CO juniors and frens; whereby they will ask me to patronise their stores and ya, it's really fun going about filling you and your friend's mouth with food! 1st, aik jun treated wanyi, then jiayin treated us to satay and terriyaki chicken, then i treated them to cheese puff! hahaha~! it's juz so fun, you don't even feel painful for your wallet, instread, it feels so worthwhile! it's just an intangible happy feeling la =).

04S72 reuniON!!!

hohoHO~ today's such a long day... first, went to HC for CO orientation; was the gamemaster for 1 of the wet stations, luckily, i din get wet. k, took quite a no. of pics with my dyb juniors. not that i want to say, i really think that my diyinbu has the BEST juniors in the world! attendance wasn't really that great and diyin makes up a significant portion of it. almost all of them turned up man, such nice juniors! THANKS cute juniors!

ok, then i could not make it to the CO reunion dinner which was held at marina south cos i've promised my class i'll turn up for reunion. they had ktv prior to that! I'M REALLY SO JEALOUS! while poor me was entertaining the juniors, but it's worthwhile la. think they gave me a lot of support by coming =). ok, my absence from the CO reunion dinner has actually caused like 4 or 5 ppl to be absent too. ooPz, hehe think i'm too important la =P.

ok, anyway, upon arrival at chinatown, i went to walk alone cos the rest were late. then, tiong soon came and we walked together and we found this nice ulu shophouse at outram and decided that we can dine there. but poor us, we had to return all the way to chinatown mrt to fetch them back to outram. we even get up into the street market to squeeze with the crowd for some time.

WA! din bloooog for sooo lonG! well, that's becos of the bz schedule that toopid HC gives us... had toopid bio spa on tues and hafta study quite a no. of things for it. then had so many hw for s paper! and also other hw! burn my pathetic weekends doing that. ok..
here's my schedule...

mon- co and maths s until 7 pm or later
tues- released at 5.20pm
wed- co until 7pm++
thurs- chem s until 7.30pm++
fri- outing day until late late at times

sommore, i live at faraway tampines! hafta travel back all the way from bukit timah... argH! darn irritatinG! ok, today right, all of us were in CNY mood le, no mood to listen to lectures. OoPz =) Then i dun noe y i kept getting the seat beside yuexin during lectures n tutorials. yupz. after sch, at around 4pm, we had talentime auditions and i went to help out our small CO band.. cos they were very enthusiastic in it. yupz, but it din turn out well, guess it's becos we din pei yang hao the feelings be4 getting up onto the stage. ok, but it's all over le and some unhappy things happened actually...

then i went to tampines and met my dad to buy a new digi cam! got this small small cute cute cam at $700. it's fugi de, and has 5.2 megapix... thought it was a good buy and it comes with a lot of free stuff like 256mb memory card. hehee... ok.. and then went to ban nian huo with him and i bought 20 new year cards ready to be given away. think i'll write some later le! yeah! very looking forward to tml! cos afternoon i'll be 1 of the organisers for CO orientation. naifen and me are the game master for 1 station, GREAT! can play with him le... nice person he is haha and ya, corny at times toO~ ok, shall take pic with him tml~!

and then, tml night i will meet my 72ers at chinatown to have dinner! great! 1st time class outing with full attendance! i'm sooo jealous of them! they are going for a ktv session during my orientation! i wan to da zhan ge hou toO! what a shamE! but nvm la, i think the chinatown dinner will be as fun! hehee... yeah really looking forward to tml! and next wk! k... sat, here i cuM!
