yeap~ Today was the last group gatherings i had! well, i always leave the best for the last. had lunch with alvin and huizhi at tm ding tai! i'm really glad that they're able to meet me amidst their heavy schoolwork. they've been really busy and it's not easy to have both of them free at the same time. thanks thanks! Anyway, they are my close dunman 4f classmates and i look forward to going to school daily cos of them! cos i know i'll have another day of fun in sch despite the early mornings! yup, and i love their company always cos i feel myself when i'm with them.





yeah, then met the dybians for dinner at downtown east and i wanna thank them for making it despite their busy schedule! ming jit came down after a test and he had 2 more next week. thanks reallY! i appreciate it! argh, i feel so lucky yet sad at the same time to have these frens cos i don't wanna leave them. brrr, it was a great dinner and sai gave me a da bian while pam gave me sth she made herself. ok, i will try my best to bring them over. thanks diyin!

yup, and i've finished packing my stuff today, i'm left with 5% of my stuff i think. i feel accomplished after packing with the help of my dad. alright, tmr will be visiting relatives and da gu is cooking nasi lemak for me for lunch! and 2 more solo gatherings to go. gosh... i can't believe all these are coming to an end soon...

Today was out to NTU for the FIRST time in my life! went to there cos i wanna get the atkins physical chem book which is sold out in most book stores like nus and clementi bookstore. gosh! the analogy 'qu xi tian qu jin' is totally apt. well, so we decided to do a food trail there! we had prawn mee and chicken rice at the nie canteen and the chicken rice was quite nan chi! haha, then did some camwhore at the bus stops! hahaa. and we went for chua bing at canteen 2 thereafter! we had mango and green tea chua bing. it was really nice i think! the green tea 1 tasted like the jap ice cream! woosh! anyway, the 3 of us were actually from dsta originally until CJ decided to leave to take law. yup, if not we would have been all imperial-ists. haha~ well, got to noe cj during the dsta award ceremony and we've met up quite a no. of times at tm for movies and lunch! haha, great easty buddy! must still maintain like that when i'm back alright! haha~ and jk, i always become very talkative when he's around, dun noe why, but it's really comfortable talking to him i feel. bestest dsta fren! hehe!



alright, then met sootin, kuoren and kevin for dinner at siglap! we had cafe cartel, gosh my 2nd western food be4 leaving. i should totally stop! we had a really good chat there, sharing our old school days! wow, that was long ago man, haha but more long ago for them actually! and kevin narrated his US trip with his photos. haha! yeah, i'm looking forward to meeting st jie for hua pi on wed! argH! the last epic chi movie i'll watch be4 going over!



yup, and i'm left with exactly 1 week. well, i've been thinking about leaving on that day every night be4 i sleep. haha~ and i usu get emotional when i listen to liang zhu... hai... i still remember how emo i felt when the erhu teacher was playing her solo part, and i looked at cf... argh! i hate this. but it was really a good experience. at least those were the memories spent together man!

this is meng ni! got to know her in jc when she joined CO maybe cos she knows the charismatic eric is in it! haha, cf and i taught her cello initially but eventually referred her to TL cos we realised we cant really teach though we can play! and she went for 1 syf competition with me in j2~ she's been a great companion and really glad to have known her. sometimes we'll just spend our restless friday afternoons in town after school, and i have always enjoyed bickering with her and laughing at her when she's annoyed. but still, we remain close! gosh, i'll miss u when i'm in london~ do take care ah meng!

well, and i was feeling quite sian tonight when i kept thinking that i din do enuf for my parents these past 20 years. i would sometimes snap at them and get impatient with them when they turn naggy. hai, i dun mean it. and these days, i wanna cook for them and have dinner with them more frequently! next week will be dinner at home daily! and i'll cook for my mum tmr cos dad will be working late!

Today was my last practice at Dunman from 10am till 1.30pm! we played liang zhu, shi mian and chun jiang. while playing the last page of liang zhu, my eyes were a little filled with tears as my mind kept flashing images of dueting and playing cello with cf. we have gone for numerous concerts and syf competition together during our dunman days and hc days. and today was the last practice together, and tmr will be our last performance together at the esplanade. It's kinda sad but i have treasured playing together with her during every practice. 8 years of friendship and 6 years together in the same cca as cellists. i'm really used to her i guess. well, we shall end this concert with a high note tmr!

Then, went to meet the dso interns for lunch though i already had some snacks at dunman! met mad, kr, michelle and jinhui! yup, it was great seeing michelle and mad again and we have much to talk about still! gave michelle her card and i'm glad she likes it, and said that it's sweet! hahaa. she's my shi mei from hc and also a dsta scholar. so i'll see her when i'm back! and we've promised to go for our 1st overseas conference together! and i kept making fun of mad, just like how i made fun of her back in dso! haha! well, and i ate my tai wan mee sua today cos i was craving for it! it's a fat day but i ran 6km to make up for the calories! alright, gambatte for tmr's concert!

Did another pair of specs today and it was an orkley like frame, looks sporty. then went to meet ks to shop for some stuff again and i bought a new pencil case from AnBC. JK also met me to get his rice cooker from me! Then, KS and I went for a dessert stop at ji de chi be4 it gets really crowded at night and i had my yin yang while he had his durian paste which was really good! Then yx and jy met us for dinner! we had steamboat at xian de lai i think. yeah and the food was quite good, not bad. at least i dun feel so much msg in the soup though 1 of the base was quite salty! hahah we ate a lot and ks kept trying to matchmake yx and his fren.

well, yx and jy are my frens since sec school. jy was from co and jap class, same as me, while got to know yx through ps and we are neighbours! and all 4 of us were classmates in hc! what a coincidence. it's nice to have them as friends, cos they're also the dependable ones. well, take care! and hope to see the 2 of them in london next year when they go there for their grad trip while we're just finishing our year 1.

Today was lunch with kiwi at hanabi! we had buffet there and he wanted to treat me but i insisted on paying him half! haha. It's been so long since I last met him cos school started for him first and he's really busy when smu started. well, chatted lots of stuff, almost like everything, and even discussed with him some chem and physics stuff that i thot of! hahaa gonna miss this close fren of mine when i'm gone! ok, got to know him in hc when we were together in centad. we weren't that close until we were in the same section in bmt and that really brought us together! guess that's fate! and we did meals delivery together! and i enjoy doing with him, with him driving while i dispatch the meals. kinda fun! yup, will see him again on the 3rd!

oh and i bought this braun buffel wallet which has an exquisite packaging, and bought another vacuum pack. also bought rice cooker for jk and contacts for ks! wa, been a busy day!

Today was another meet up with my angel, senior pamela from 03S72! We had dinner at bugis fei cui lamian and i kinda like bugis now after it's renovation. Met sh be4 that to get the anime stuff from her, thanks a lot gal! will squeeze them into my luggage. and we chatted so much over dinner. though i rarely meet up with my angel, she's really a nice person to talk to! the most elegant and nicest angel i ever had. we always had the most goodies in the box! and our classmates will like wow! and she said she still has the neoprint we took together 2 years ago! haha, so long ago.

well, we met and bumped into each other a total of 4 times within these 3 years. guess today is the last time i'll see her be4 i return next year! ok, and after dinner we went to mof for ice cream and she insisted on treating me. i'm touched really. argh, i just feel that it's really nice to have frens who care for u. thanks angel for the dinner and ice cream treat! take care k!

'Today' is seriously a long day! Actually, my day sorta started from yesterday night! Met Weidi, nic and sam at marina sq Thai Express for some thai food! It's the start of my pre departure gatherings! have already planned out the whole of sept and this is the 1st group outing. As usual, gathering with them is always full of fun and laughter! and nic really cracked me up when he mimicked samuel's way of saying wei she me. cos it sounds like wei4 she3 me2 and ur jaw must be wide open at the me2. damn corny and i just couldn't stop lafing at nic! cos he looks like some retard! such a cheap entertainment actually. and he always mimic it when i wanted him to so that i can have a good laf! haha! shall try to get the photos from samuel soon. haha! and we also had half priced cakes from cartel after 5. outing with them will nv be boring.

Then, wl came to stay over at my place so that we can cab down together at 5am to send both shawn and alvin off... and it's my first time unable to sleep! argH! i dun noe why, i wasn't thinking of any stuff but yest night was just so hard to fall asleep. sending them off was just a little sad when i thot about the fact that i wun be seeing baba until next year july, and by then, we may be going to china for a backpack! yup, see how it goes. alright and after that i rushed home to get my cello out and went to meet ah yin to go to cco practice at dunman until 5pm! i'm really so jaded and i shall stone in front of my tv later cos i wanna watch the yang jia jiang last episode on tv! hopefully i wun concuss! shall run tml and tues is shopping with my future housemates!

yeah, think it's time to update what i've done this week! yest was dinner with bf and qy at kovan xin wang. and last sat was maf with lots of camwhore photos on facebook! and mon was spent with jk, bf and kelvin to collect our visa and celebrate kelvin's bday at ichiban; glad that he liked the sling bag we bought for him!

and today, i took my ippt with baba and alvin at bedok guards camp! got a 22 points silver. think i've done my best and even better than when i was in seletar camp actually. my effort in training has paid off! i broke my sbj record and jumped a 239cm. initially jumped 234, but was too 'conceited' and walked off without realising that the machine takes some time to record. i realised the key to jumping far is to just jump, gaining momentum is quite unnecessary.

yeah, so finally everything is done! visa approved, exit permit done, accommodation gotten and ippt cleared! i'm ready to go to london already. but i have yet to meet my friends! will start meeting them next week~ actually i'm starting to feel a little apprehensive already, it's really soon man!

oh well, ok back to today. so after ippt, went to parkway ichiban with baba! i had my usual kabuto fish head with rice. and got a small cute wooden paper weight from him with my initial on it and his name on top with our nicks at the side! really sweet of him, hahaa simple yet a very nice and meaningful gift! haha, will bring to london. and he said there's more to come tml! haha! thanks baba! think i'll feel less bored when i look at it in my hall room next time! shall upload the foto once he sent me! hahha! then we went to katong mall, wanted to have awfully choc initially but it was closing by the time we reached; so awful. haha but still managed to take a pic outside the cake shop! yeah, it was a nice day spent today! tml will be volunteer, then lunch with baba, bf and sonya!

yup, I've just finished watching this drama called shao nian yang jia jiang on crunchyroll. It's a terrific drama! very touching and talked about a great war the yang clan went through at jin sha tan which depicted their valiance and courage. Its last episode will be screened this sunday on ch 8 10.30pm and i'll definitely watch it again! cried at the 30+ episodes when they met their predicament which caused the deaths of 4 of the yang members, it would be quite inhuman to feel nothing at those episodes. hope to have more of such dramas, then i can watch in london in future!

yeah~ I'm quite happy that ks and i have set to go to manchester in late oct or early nov, over the weekends, to visit our 2 S72 classmates, simin and lisa! hope everything will materialize cos i think it's really cool to meet them up far away from home singapore! it'll be a cool 3h train ride there with ks then! definitely looking forward to it!

and i think i'll be meeting eugene in the middle of UCL and Imperial during the 1st 2 weeks of school. kinda funny huh, we didn't meet each other at all in SG after army but got so enthu when we're going to london. he was my toilet cleaner buddy then back in sispec! i think i would also meet up those 2 juniors, dorea and shirlene! haha! But i'm so looking forward to manchester most imptly!

alright, so now i'm left with my visa application that has yet to be approved. I'm actually quite anxious to know the result.

I have my UK account set up le, so that's done and I have gotten my accoms! I got Parsons House and i was totally devastated when i saw the email. asked seniors frantically for other alternatives and how's the place like. Alright a slight introduction to my parsons house: ah-hem

It's a big block of building that looks like HDB apartments and the first four levels are reserved for IC students while the remaining houses doctors and nurses as it's next to this hospital where lessons for the IC medics are held at. It sits comfortably at Barons Court station, 3 stops away from South Kensington and takes a short 25min to school by tube. yeap, most of the other friends just have to walk.

Talking to some other seniors and 1 HC senior who stayed there 1 year ago kinda comforted me, cos it seems to be quite a nice place to stay at afterall! It's near to hammersmith which charlene says is a very nice shopping area and there're a bunch of IC sg seniors staying there too! And this small little hall only houses 42 IC students all in single room. The best thing is, it functions like an apartment, like there's a main gate and your rooms. so it's 4 to a kitchen and toilet! wee! cos i dun like sharing with like 10 other ppl! Though it's not as pretty or rustic as the other accoms, it's still a really cosy 1 i feel. and being able to live with 3 other international students, i guess can forge stronger bonds! haha if the ppl are nice la that is. and there's a big sainsbury (our ntuc) just across the road, and i can do my groceries easily! also, my room is spacious and looks pleasing to the eye too, that's the main reason why i included it as 1 of my choices.

and most importantly, bf is in the same hall as me! He'll be the best companion when i get homesick! well, we'll be the few singaporeans away from the main singaporeans body, but it'll be a good time to mingle with other international students. so, i'm looking forward to it afterall! and i'll be so willing to host my frens! so parsons house, here i come!

will be doing volunteer tml, and meeting cj to make specs on fri! haha and i should make time for my haircut! it's like grass these days!
